Bizza, a name derived from the Mediterranean pronunciation of pizza, is an authentic pizza joint located in the heart of the iconic Haight-Ashbury district. With a dash of Mediterranean flare, the menu aims to please a palate as eclectic as the street on which it’s found. Family owned and operated, the owners have been in the Upper Haight for years. where we come from
Our name and our menu items are evidence of our deep Mediterranean roots. A sprinkle of za’atar thyme here, and a spoonful of tahini sauce there, our original menu items are just as tasty as the good ol’ Italian classics we offer.
